KJ Yesudas & SP Bala in Singapore – Heritage and Diversity

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) had the pleasure of collaborating with music Legends Dr K.J. Yesudas and Dr S.P. Balasubrahmanyam when they performed in Singapore for the Voice of Legends concert in July 2019. They performed their hit song “Kaattu Kuyilin Manasukkuley” from the 1991 Tamil film Thalapathi, that starred popular actors Rajnikanth and Mammootty.

The artistes explored the city's multicultural heritage and diversity. The video captures scenes across the city’s ethnic precincts and diverse locales, including Little India, Chinatown and Haji Lane. Both legendary musicians explored the attractions and spoke about their experiences and observations of Singapore.
