Maestro Isainyani Ilaiyaraaja in Singapore - Full Interview

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) had the pleasure of collaborating with Maestro, Isainyani Ilaiyaraaja when he was in Singapore in August 2018 for his concert performance.

STB’s Regional Director, South Asia, Middle East and Africa GB Srithar sat down for a conversation with the legendary Indian musician. The Maestro reminisced about his frequent trips to Singapore, including the times he spent in Singapore to compose the orchestra music for “Thiruvasagam” and stated that the city is like a second home to him and his family.

He observed the changes the city has undergone and why it is unsurprisingly a popular tourist destination for Indian travellers. He shared his thoughts on the brand for Singapore 'Passion Made Possible' (Aarvam Niraiverum in Tamil) and wishes for travellers to the Lion City.
